Songwriter and performer Giedrė will start with pianist Andrejs Polevikov on October 4 in Vilnius, and on November 30. He will finish his autumn acoustic tour in Klaipėda. In his concerts in 15 cities of the country, he will present the latest program „Through the Souls”.

Giedrė's sensitive, personal, even somewhat irritating work, dressed in the costume of a cosmonaut on Earth and sometimes sprinkled with playful confetti for variety, which fall into their hair and make everyone want to be a little better; her soft vocals, layered with shyness, fury, nostalgia and the ability to create the feeling of having someone close to you around your shoulders; specific intimacy and an exclusive scenography specially created for this tour. All this will be won by listeners who have visited Giedrė's concerts.

„I am really looking forward to this tour of acoustic concerts,” says Giedrė. „As much as I'm sure about time-tested songs, the feeling of the premiere is the sweetest.”

Concert tickets for the singer's recent tour through Lithuania were sold out in almost all cities. There were also no tickets left for Giedrė's first album presentation concert „Kiaurai sielas” at Vilnius Summer Terrace.

„Performances with the group were well received by the audience. I know that we will listen to the acoustic versions of the new songs with bated breath, and we will smile at the lightness of the sounds, and we will catch ourselves thinking, – how simple that magical life is,” says Giedrė.

„Kiaurai sielas” is already a well-regarded album that has received the best reviews. Listening to it, one does not get the feeling that such songs as „Išdalinau”, „Tomas Boo played that night”, „Peržuvo peržuvu”, „Trečia para”, „Enveloped in the vaults of the sky” were always in the rich baggage of the author's songs, because Giedrė's performances are unimaginable without them.

In the concerts of the acoustic tour, she will perform these songs with pianist Andrejs Polevikov, with whom she has been performing for 14 years. „Leaving only the bareness of the piano and voice, the songs reveal other depths and layers. There is complete trust and easy friendship with Andrei Polevikov. As banal as it sounds, music is in pauses. If you compare it with my songs, the best example would be the duet between the two of us in the song „I'm normal”. I feel very comfortable and safe when accompanied by Andrej. Maybe because for us the piece is more important than the demonstration of musical skills”, says Giedrė.

„I am everything. When I want, I wear sneakers, when I want, I wear an elegant red dress. I always feel that Lithuanian designers sympathize with me, and I equally admire their work. For me, stage clothes are an important part of a concert. For now, I won't reveal how it will be in the fall,” smiles the performer.

Her team deliberately organizes fewer concerts in the summer so that Giedrė can focus all her efforts on the fall. „However, 15 cities – there are things to do!” she says. – Now I try to take myself for a walk in the woods or just lie in a hammock with the dog. And a little later, rehearsals, stage preparations and pleasant pre-concert excitement await. Mom asks, – will you stretch that much, daughter? These days, mom, it's getting hot!
